Adolescent Therapy

Parenting a teenager is never easy. You may feel exhausted from lying awake at night worrying about where your child is, who they’re with, and what they’re doing. You may despair over failed attempts to communicate, the endless fights, and the open defiance—not to mention the moodiness, the intense emotions, and the impulsive and reckless conduct. This moodiness, intense emotion, impulsivity and/reckless conduct is putting a significant strain on the relationship with your teen and their relationship with other family members. Although ultimately they get to decide who they will be, discussing faith-based concepts and allowing them a safe space to process their feelings, fears and wants or needs may help alleviate the tension in the home and provide much needed hope that things will get better. FaithWorks Therapy offers a session package tailored to your family's needs.

Adolescent Therapy

While it can be normal for a teenager to lack confidence at times, individuals with self-esteem issues normally view themselves differently to how others view them. Low self-esteem can be particularly hard for young people especially when they’re doing things  like starting high school or work, and forming new friendships and relationships. Therapy can benefit teens who struggle with self-esteem issues and help you discover ways to help your child feel better about themselves and their capabilities.
